Fishing Report- Updated June 28, 2010

Williamson river - Water is still discolored and fishing has been sporatic below Chiloquin. Try swinging articulated leeches and buggers in burgandy, brown, or black. Dead drifting heavy stonefly nymphs has also resulted in some quality fish lately. The Upper Williamson is still producing some great black drake hatches.

Wood River - River levels have spiked again and clarity is on the poor side. We are still witnessing hatches of PMD's and green drakes throughout much of the river. The most consistent fishing has been towards the mouth of Agency and below Crooked Creek.

Klamath River - The Keno section is closed until September. Below J.C. Boyle the fishing is great for smaller redband trout. These small aggressive fish can still be caught on salmonfly and golden stone imitations. This is great territory for 2-4 wt. rods. Stay alert for Rattlesnakes.

Pronghorn Lakes Ranch - Trout fishing is still good. On the 1st of July the lake will close to trout fishing, but will remain open for Largemouth Bass. Checkout our private lakes page for more information on this truly majestic fishery.

Checkout The Ledge Outdoor Store and their fully stocked destination fly shop for any flies or materials you may need. They are located at 369 S. 6th St. 541-882-5586.
